PRIMEFLEX
Primeflex fabrics utilize a patented spiral yarn that allows the fabric to stretch and recover without using heavy, water-absorbing spandex. The result is a more comfortable, higher-performing fabric that stretches a considerable amount more and weighs less than comparable polyester fabrics. This elastane free polyester stretches with your body eliminating any restriction in movement, while woven tightly to assist the DWR coating in fighting off external moisture and provide 40+ UV protection.

C6 DWR
For JB LANGLEY, making the best product means sourcing the best materials and technologies. Toray’s C6 DWR represents one of the most advanced durable water repellency (DWR) treatment available today with excellent anti-abrasion and oil resistant properties. Toray’s C6 DWR retains the original fabric’s moisture and air permeability properties, while also maintaining a soft touch and adding no additional weight. Toray’s C6 DWR performs better and lasts significantly longer than conventional DWR.
ENTRANT HB (HYBRID)
When JB LANGLEY first set out to create the best rain suit possible, it only made sense that Toray’s WPB technology was first on the list. Toray Entrant HB is a four layer waterproof, windproof, and breathable fabric system including a Hydrophobic and Hydrophilic layers that are specially developed to provide protection against the most extreme types of weather, including salt water environments, while remaining as comfortable as possible. Products featuring Toray’s Entrant HB fabric system can withstand a water column of 30,000mm and provide excellent breathability.

Four Layer Fabric System Explained:
- EXTERIOR LAYER: C6 DWR treated abrasion resistant nylon outer shell. The tightly woven fabric assists the DWR while being able to withstand significant abrasion.
- 2ND LAYER: Hydrophobic waterproof, yet water vapor permeable microporous coating. The pores are so small that water cannot go through but vapor molecules are many times smaller than the liquid state and can pass through.
- 3RD LAYER: Hydrophilic non-porous lamination moves moisture by chemical diffusion. The water molecule is positively charged and the hydrophilic layer is negatively charged, attracting the water through the intermolecular gaps of the lamination. The water then gets pushed through the gaps until the water vapor passes all the way through the layers.
- INTERIOR LAYER: Ultra-lightweight wicking mesh to protect the waterproof layers and assist in pulling moisture away from your body.

YKK AQUASEAL WATERPROOF ZIPPERS
The AQUASEAL zipper from YKK is traditionally used in waders and drysuits. We chose to use AQUASEAL® zippers in our ALTUS Storm Series to provide perfect protection against the most severe weather conditions. Water resistant zippers are commonly used in rain gear and is one of the first places to fail, letting moisture in. At JB Langley, we use the best waterproof breathable fabrics we can find, combining them with the best waterproof zippers in the world, we’ve created something that has never been accomplished before.

SINGTEX® PERFORMANCE KNIT
JB | LANGLEY has strategically aligned with perennial winner of Taiwan Excellence awards, Singtex because they continue to invest in innovative research and development. In 2008, Singtex received the Swiss bluesign® blue mark after passing the most stringent environmental protection standards in the world. JB LANGLEY uses SINGTEX® performance knits in UV performance styles. Combined with Microban®, these products offer wicking, quick dry, antimicrobial odor control, 4-way stretch, anti-pilling and 50+ UV protection.
